Description

MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS S.I. Version, 4E, is the first SI version of Singiresu S. Rao’s Mechanical Vibrations textbook.

This current SI Edition is adapted from the current 4th U.S. edition.
As with the U.S. fourth edition, the text presents the theory, computational aspects, and applications of vibrations in as simple a manner as possible. With an emphasis on computer techniques of analysis, it gives expanded explanations of the fundamentals, focusing on physical significance and interpretation that build upon students' previous experience.
Each self-contained topic fully explains all concepts and presents the derivations with complete details. Numerous examples and problems illustrate principles and concepts.

The solutions manual has also been adapted wherever U.S. Customary units are used in the U.S. 4th edition, and they are also available as PDF copies to lecturers.

Unique Features:

- This SI edition is published in one colour, following the 4th U.S. edition

- All examples, exercises and solutions have been adapted into SI units wherever U.S. customary units are used

- The Solutions Manual is also available in soft copy (PDF scans)
